having a “song” with someone or dedicating a song to someone is probably one of the things I’ve grown to hate. having songs that reminds you of someone during a situation is not that bad… I mean you can think of someone else who is in that same situation; it’s not so exclusive. sharing a song with someone, calling them whenever you hear it playing etc. that is treading dangerous ground. when you’re not on good terms with that person anymore it’s like having to shun that song from your life forever unless you want to be constantly reminded of them. on another note, I feel like I can say I’ve TRULY moved on from any of that when I can listen to that song and forget the feeling it used to bring.
I’m just going on about this cause I have a few songs that are haunting me right now. =___=

What about when you’re awake? What’s the superstition for having someone on your mind first thing in the morning… and has been for the past 3 months?

i want to know what i look like in my sleep. do you look at me like how i would look at you? would you examine the finest details; from my eyelashes or the shadows the light creates on my skin to the creases on my lips? would you run your fingers through my hair and brush any strays from my face? would you … would you kiss me on the forehead lightly in hopes that you wouldn’t wake me? do i speak in my sleep? do i tell you secrets i’m too scared to say when i’m awake? do you listen to my deep breaths, and try to listen for a rhythm or maybe a pattern? do i have big sighs of content or perhaps big sighs of longing. am i unrested?

i think we all have that friend. that friend that we don’t have to talk to everyday— as a matter of fact you can not talk for weeks but when you do, it’s like you’re picking up right where you left off. it’s great to have that security in a friendship where you don’t need to constantly reassure each other that you’re there —- cause you both know that each other will be there whenever needed. and when you’re together, you feel like you never skipped a beat. :) just a thought.
